Biking
You’ll have a blast on this short-but-sweet, 4.4-mile, singletrack loop around Siltcoos Lake. This quick it’s-over-before-you-can-blink trail winds through a thick coastal forest, taking you to the edge of 3,500-acre Siltcoos Lake—the largest freshwater lake on the Oregon coast. Here you’ll have a good chance of seeing blue herons and a variety of other waterfowl. Short intense climbs, fast twisting downhills, and smooth-sailing straight-aways make this trail so much fun that you’ll want to do it again and again. Trail surface: Singletrack.
