The Dunes City Planning Commission consists of five voting members, each of whom is a resident of the city and appointed by the Council for a three-year term. The Commission reviews land use applications and recommends related decisions to the City Council. Members promote interest in and understanding of the purposes, principles and proposals expressed in the Dunes City Comprehensive Plan and cooperate with other planning agencies in the State.

Meeting times: 4th Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm, Dunes City Hall

The Dunes City Budget Committee is comprised of the Mayor, City Council and seven citizen members appointed by the Council for three-year terms. The Committee will meet one to three times in the spring of each year to review and possibly revise the proposed City budget before it is formally adopted by the City Council.

Meeting times: One to three meetings each year.

The Dunes City Water Quality Committee consists of a Councilor designated by the City Council to act as a non-voting chair and six members appointed by the City Council for three-year terms.  At least two members shall be water testers, one for Siltcoos Lake and one for Woahink Lake. All members must be legal residents of the City and of voting age. The purpose of the committee is to make recommendations to the City Council and/or Planning Commission for the conservation, protection, maintenance, and improvement of the quality of the City’s water resources and promotion of public health, welfare and safety.

Meeting times: As needed, Dunes City Hall
